David is the author of 'The Patient Revolution: How we can heal the healthcare system'. He has been affected by life-changing mental health problems and has worked with the NHS for 35 years (including stints at Croydon PCT, Commission for Health Improvement and The Kings Fund). He joined Sussex MSK Partnership (Central) in 2015 as the first Patient Director in the country. He is an Associate for the Centre for Mental Health and Writer in Residence at The Bethlem Gallery.
